Mindspeed beat Expectations by a penny, and the stock jumped. It has been climbing steadily since turning around in February 2009, and the 50- and 200-day averages are rising in parallel.
- Percentage price oscillator (PPO) — fell back toward signal line before earnings, but has resumed going up since then
- Volume — double-volume on the day after earnings
Based on technical analysis, MarketEdge calls MSPD a "buy" in a "weak upward trend."

MSPD has been at the upper boundary of its trading channel for a while now, and technically over-bought. It pulled back enough today to trigger my stop-loss order. Although I did leave some money on the table, I still have a nice profit.
