NABI 3-month stock chart

Buy

Nabi doubled in price during the first four months of the year and then pulled way back after the May peak. It has now regained all the lost territory and is making new 52-week highs.

  • Price momentum (PPO) — steady for last week
  • Trend (ADX) — selling pressure (-DI) falling while buying pressure (+DI) holding steady
  • Money flow (CMF) — strong inflow
  • Relative strength (RSI) — rising in past week
  • Volume — average appears to be falling slightly, a bit worrisome

Sell

loss Bottom line
-8%

The market opened in a sour mood today, and NABI fell enough to trigger my stop-loss order. The chart had been deteriorating, and yesterday NABI broke through and ended below the lower Bollinger band and the 50-day moving average.

NABI is still well above the long-term trend line (see sidebar), but the failure to hold the $7 level makes me dubious about its prospects.
