KNOL 3-month stock chart

Buy

I recently lost money trying to short Knology. I'll try again, only this time going long. Yesterday it flirted with $10 but ended back up at the 50-day moving average. It has held that level today, so I'm in.

  • Price momentum (PPO) — steep increase in early December
  • Trend (ADX) — back at threshhold, with buying pressure (+DI) and selling pressure (-DI) kissing
  • Money flow (CMF) — nice inflow
  • Relative strength (RSI) — held at neutral
  • Volume — still pretty lightly traded

KNOL has been looking pretty weak, so this morning I raised the activation price of my stop-loss order to $10.20, just in case it suffered a breakdown. About half an hour later, it did, and the position was closed at $10.21.

I'm going to be really irritated if KNOL continues on down, since I was originally short the stock and had to cover at a loss. Now I've lost money going long. Good money after bad, my momma would have said.
