ANTP 3-month stock chart

Buy

Phazar had been in a steep slide until November (see sidebar) when news (MarketWatch.com) of a new government contract gave it a big boost, apparently breaking the downtrend. It pulled back to the 50-day moving average, which is now rising, and jumped again. It has pulled back again, but not as far, forming a stairstep of higher lows. Let's see how far this will go.

  • Price momentum (PPO) — rose sharply then leveled off, more or less
  • Trend (ADX) — fairly strong trend, with selling pressure (-DI) weakening slowly
  • Money flow (CMF) — slight outflow again after a period of steady inflow
  • Relative strength (RSI) — ticking up slightly from neutral
  • Volume — lightly traded, but stable at a higher level after the big price jumps

Well, it didn't go far. In fact, ANTP closed lower every day since I bought it, and today it was down almost 8% on the day.
