3-Jul-06. After forming a double-bottom just below $7 in May and June, HLR has apparently started back up again.

3-Aug-06. Never mind! When SVN inched above my purchase price again today I unloaded my shares with just enough gain to cover my trading costs and buy a hamburger. After pulling back to $7.50, SVN has been moving up rather steadily, with momentum (PPO), money flow (CMF) and relative strength (RSI) all increasing. Nevertheless, I decided to sell anyway. SVN is due to report earnings next Tuesday, and the slightest negative surprise would likely send the stock plummeting.
The name and ticker change added to my unease. By any other name, SVN is still basically a newspaper company (and we know how well that industry is doing these days!), and, as the comedian quipped, "Previous ticker: IOU"
