Buy
21-Sep-06. In August, QLTI moved up to the $7.50 level and has held mostly above that for nearly a month. It touched up with the lower Bollinger band two days ago and moved slightly higher again today at the open. The 50-day moving average recently crossed above the 200-day average.
- Price momentum (PPO) — strengthened significantly after low in June, but has weakened again during the pull back from latest high
- Trend (ADX) — weakening, with buying pressure (+DI) and selling pressure (-DI) about equal -- not really a good sign
- Money flow (CMF) — neutral again after strong inflow
- Relative strength (RSI) — was weakening but picking up again this week
- Volume — a little light and a little worrisome

19-Oct-06. The stop-loss order for QLTI was triggered last Thursday in the wild volatility that came when the company lowered its sales forecast for one of its products. I understand why that made the stock go down; I don't understand what made it go back up again the same day.
This is another case of the trailing stop-loss order working exactly the way it was supposed to, but resulting in leaving some money on the table. QLTI had closed over $8 after the buy, so that's 50¢ a share that got away.
