NABI 3-month stock chart

Buy

NABI has been moving up from a recent low and pulled back about 40% from the latest high. For the past two weeks it has been following the 1-month moving average up.

  • Price momentum (PPO) — slowing has slowed
  • Trend (ADX) — selling pressure (-DI) has fallen away from buying pressure (+DI), although the trend isn't all that strong
  • Money flow (CMF) — strong flow of money into the stock
  • Relative strength (RSI) — strengthening over past two months
  • Volume — daily average is falling, which is worrisome

I got into NABI as an early buy, despite some weaknesses in the chart, on the strength of a short-term uptrend, following the 1-month moving average and improvement from being over-sold (StochRSI). Yesterday, a major stockholder re-asserted pressure for NABI to explore options to "increase shareholder value" such as a sale. Looking at the weakening since I bought, I decided to sell today if there was any kind of bounce in reaction to the news.
