2-Aug-06. I had tried to get in on InPhonics last May when I thought it was just about to break to new heights on its road to recovery. Wrong! The year-long slide is still in place, so I'm going to try to get in on the downside. The 50-day moving average is headed down, and it has just touched up with the average. Combine that with a falling 200-day average, and I think it points to further declines. Of course, an earnings surprise could change everything, but...
- Price momentum (PPO) — just below neutral, and slowing
- Trend (ADX) — no trend, below threshhold
- Money flow (CMF) — has been flowing out of the stock for a while
- Relative strength (RSI) — neutral
- Volume — fairly stable at less than 500K shares per day

3-Aug-06. INPC reported earnings yesterday after the bell and The Market was not pleased; the stock got hammered at the open, recovered slightly, then plunged even lower. Having been burned by dilly-dallying with RNWK, I took this opportunity to grab a nice profit while it was still available.
