Buy
5-Aug-05. I decided to jump back into Navarre again, despite an earlier lot that I ended up selling for a modest loss. When the company released earnings, after a delay, they reported record sales and improving margins. The stock price jumped on the news. Perhaps the omens are now more auspicious than they were before.
- Price momentum (PPO) — sharply up since earnings
- Trend and buying pressure (ADX) — strengthening, and buying pressure (+DI) now above selling pressure (-DI)
- Money flow (CMF) — slightly negative
- Relative strength (RSI) — jumped sharply after earnings, reversing a long steady decline
I hope I haven't jumped the gun on this one. That it managed to fall even more after I bought in is not a good omen.
Sell
-9%
12-Sep-05. I concluded that I did jump the gun and put in a stop-loss order that would trigger if NAVR sold below $7.37. The order was triggered today, but NAVR later recovered and closed up for the day. I think I'm better off out of it — there's too much sidewise and not enough upward movement in this chart.
