19-May-05. DMC broke out of its base near the end of March and has established a clear uptrend since then. This week it has moved to higher level on larger volumes.

  • Price momentum (PPO) — steady increase in momentum
  • Trend (ADX) — strengthening, with buying pressure (+DI) widening the gap over selling pressure (-DI)
  • Money flow (CMF) — after slacking off slightly, has regained the positive level at the beginning of the uptrend
  • Relative strength (RSI) — gradual strengthening since April

23-May-05. When I bought DMC I was slightly apprehensive because it had jumped so much. But, I interpreted Friday's sell-off as "profit-taking" — although the volume was big, DMC only gave up half of Thursday's price move. But when it opened down this morning, I decided that I would take a slim profit and run.
