24-Jun-05. This is my second lot of CAMD. I first took a position in CAMD when it just broke the downtrend. It has been pulling back now for five consecutive down days, kissing the 50-day moving average. At the close of yesterday's session, CAMD stabilized at about $5.20 on a big down day, and held that price through the first hour and a half today, so I bought at $5.20. The price held through most of the day until a sharp dip and then a rousing rally in the last 45 minutes of the session to close 19¢ above my buy price with four times normal volume for the day. That puts it just 10¢ below the average share price. This looks like almost perfect timing for the second buy (knock wood).

12-Sep-05. CAMD recently jumped way up in price for no apparent reason, almost to a new 52-week high (see sidebar). But, since it has been losing ground since then, I decided to sell this lot to lock in tidy profits. I still hold another lot bought in July.
