Blissini
I was moved to try this cocktail because Giada's recipes are usually very good and very simple. This is no exception. But.... my version did not turn out very good-looking. Instead of the violet color in Giada's demo (video, FoodNetwork.com), mine was an uninspiring brown. I don't know — she used freshly-squeezed orange juice whereas I used reconstituted from the supermarket. Nevertheless, the taste was quite good, especially if you closed your eyes.
- Equal parts:
- 1qt orange juice
- 1qt pomegranate juice
- 1 bottle Prosecco
- …
- mint leaves for garnish
Pour equal parts of the two juices and Prosecco in a large pitcher. If your pitcher isn't that big, just use equal parts, say 2 cups each. Stir briefly to mix.
Pour into champagne glasses and garnish with a couple of mint leaves.
Servings: 6
