Niece Carol takes a vacation

Niece Carol writes:

Whilst you were across the ocean, we were UpNorth, trying to catch fish, sun and fun. Did a little of each, but Mother Nature shed more than a few tears on us so we came home feeling a bit cheated.

I don't know how to do anything fancy with these pictures, but thought I would attach them so you could enjoy. You are NOT authorized to publish them in any way, shape or form.

I figure that last comment is a plea for help!

It was Charles' 14th birthday, and he asked for lasagna instead of cake. I'm not sure candles on hot lasagne is a good idea.

It will have been good if they brought other groceries. Just in case.

In the "Land of 10,000 lakes" summer fun often involves water.
