Dew drops on cactus

No whiskers on kittens

5-Jan-05. With all the moisture in the air from recent rains and a chill in the air, the dew on the golden pin cushion cactus this morning looked like itty-bitty icicles.

The sun is shining this morning and the clouds have cleared away from the mountains exposing a fresh coat of snow. On the patio, the golden pin cushion cactus was glistening in the sun, and a closer look revealed that the thorns were strung with drops of dew.
